Consoling the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Receiving Holy Communion in the State of Grace
Confession 11am-12pm
Noon Mass
St. Pius V Church
First Friday of every month
Part of the Sacred Heart devotion is enthroning a picture of the Sacred Heart of
Jesus in our homes. Father will bless your picture if you ask.
“I promise you in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love will
grant to those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays in nine
consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in My
disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. My Divine Heart shall be their
safe refuge in this last moment.”

5 Things Catholics should know about First Fridays
Five First Saturdays devotion was requested by Our Lady at Fatima in 1917. Our Lady asked Catholics to make reparation to her Immaculate Heart for the five offenses and blasphemies that so greatly pierce her heart.
• Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.
• Blasphemies against her Virginity.
• Blasphemies against the Divine Maternity, refusing, at the same time, to receive her as the Mother of mankind.
• Those who seek publicly to implant, in the hearts of children, indifference, disrespect, and even hate for this Immaculate Mother.
• Those who revile her directly in her sacred images.
What must I do?
• Go to confession 8 days within the First Saturday.
• Receive Holy Communion (in a state of grace) on the First Saturday of each month with the
intention of making reparation against one of the offenses/blasphemies.
• Recite the five decades of the Holy Rosary; meet at the Mary altar following 8am Saturday Mass.
• Meditate on one (or more) of the Mysteries for 15 minutes.
• Attend at least 5 consecutive First Saturdays of the month.
Our Lady attached great promises to its practice, including the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart and peace in the world, as well as graces needed for salvation for the person who makes the First Saturday devotion.” - Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC
